Amazing Thailand
1 month ago I was sitting here at home, typing away at the same place, about packing up and leaving for my adventure. Now, it looks as though I’ve never left, in a cinematographic point of view. But things are different. For one, my bedsheets.
And of course, I put on a bit of weight. Just a bit. Mostly, the change took place on the inside. It’s the intangibles that always change...

Where your heart is, there your treasure be.
The heart’s a rebel and there’s no way you could cheat it into believing that something that matters does not. There’s no possible alternative to feeling the impact of home, a thousand miles away, no matter how fast and well the adaptation takes place.

Well, it didn’t look so far away on the map. It took me an hour, depending solely on my instincts and broken Thai for...

Road trippin'
We’re leaving for Krabi, heaven on earth 11 hours away. Road trip with one driver and one baby means that we’ve got no better choice than to stopover at a halfway mark both on the way there and on the way back. It’ll be a total of 5 nights including the Krabi stay. 22 hours on the road. Rule number one: bring tons of snacks. Rule number two: make sure snacks are high in sugar.
